Meet the host
Annie is a startup operator and advisor, executive coach, investor, and consultant, as well as the host of Who Got Me Here. Annie leads Fort Light, a group coaching program for people managers at startups, and consults on operations and go-to-market initiatives for various companies. Her clients include First Round Capital and Outschool.

Jamie is a 4x CMO and Product Leader with 25 years of experience building high-growth B2B startups. He spent 20 years in San Francisco, and now lives in Aspen, Colorado. Jamie spent the first 11 years of his careers at Salesforce, during a period it grew from 120 employees to 10k. He’s been the CMO at PlanGrid (acquired by AutoDesk for $900m) and OwnBackup (acquired by to Salesforce for $2B). Today he’s running a business providing fractional CMO and advisory services.
Jamie was the CMO at Connect The Dots and founded the podcast with Annie Riley, a family friend. Jon Itkin was also at the center of this genesis story. We’re all passionate about help people find career growth and human connection. Drew the CEO of Connect The Dots, was gracious enough to let us carry the podcast forward and see where we we could take it. We’re embarking on Season Two and have big dreams! We look forward to building our tribe of people that love the concept, and want to hear more diverse and inspiring stories, of growth, perseverance, and humility.
