Devika Bulchandani was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India. At the age of ten, she attended Welham Girls' School, an all-girls boarding school in Dehradun, India.
A pivotal moment in Devika's career was leading the "Fearless Girl" campaign in 2017. This campaign featured a bronze statue of a young girl standing defiantly in front of Wall Street's charging bull, symbolizing workplace gender diversity. The campaign received widespread acclaim and became one of the most awarded in the history of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
When you look at the institutions someone has been part of, it gives you a window into their network, and who they might know.
It's also my advice to anyone aspiring for the top job: Don't stay in your lane. Knowing only your job isn't enough.
The goal is to wake up tomorrow morning and put one foot forward, and to make sure that everything that is in your means and your control you are doing. Then you wake up on Thursday and you do the next foot forward.
