Photographer; Filmmaker; Co-Founder Sea Legacy
Paul Nicklen is a renowned Canadian photographer, filmmaker, and marine biologist, celebrated for his captivating images of polar regions and their wildlife. It's the career path less traveled, and we think it'd be fascinating to have him on an upcoming episode of Who Got Me Here!
Nicklen's family moved to Baffin Island in Canada's Arctic Circle, where they were one of only four non-Inuit families in the area.
Transitioning from biology to photography, Nicklen's big break came when he became an assignment photographer for National Geographic magazine, where he has published numerous stories highlighting polar ecosystems.
When you look the institutions someone has been a part of, it gives you a window into their network, and who they might be friends with.
Photography has the power to change minds... to break down the walls of apathy and grab people at the heart and then teach them something.
We’d love to have
