His accomplishments and introspection are reason enough to have him on the Podcast, but he also had a powerful impact on my childhood. Sterling was a year ahead of me in high school, and I remember his early days in the Orthwein Theatre, so it's neat to see how far he's come.
St. Louis, Missouri.
His big break came with his portrayal of Christopher Darden in the FX limited series "The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story" (2016), a role that earned him critical acclaim and a Primetime Emmy Award.
